The University of the Hespérides has requested the implementation of its first degrees to the Government of the Canary Islands, as established in Decree 168/2008, of July 22, which regulates the procedure, requirements and evaluation criteria for authorization of the implementation of university studies leading to the official titles of Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

The works on the Gran Canaria campus of the University of the Hesperides are starting.
