Bryan Caplan will be our visiting professor at the University of the Hesperides during the months of June and July.

Bryan Caplan is an Economics professor at the George Mason University, researcher at the Mercatus Center and adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. His areas of specialization include behavioral economics and public choice theory (Public choice). He is the author of several best-selling books that have been on The New York Times lists and writes in his blog, Bet on it, on many current issues. In fact, he recently published the article "The Canaries in the Coalmine"where it addresses public discussion about tourism in the Canary Islands.

During their stay, Professor Caplan will deliver three seminars that promise to be a learning opportunity:
