Raquel Merino Jara is an economist. She was the deputy director of the Juan de Mariana Institute for 10 years, where she contributed to several research reports on economic issues. She has been a professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid, in the Department of Applied Economics I (with Jesús Huerta de Soto). Currently, she is a professor at OMMA Business School Madrid.
