Gonzalo Illesca Seguel is an expert in idea business validation and testing as well as business model redesign. In addition to his experience in incubation and innovation in Latin America and Spain, he has worked with several leading companies in the region, including Founder Institute Chile, Founder Institute Madrid, DaVinci Labs (Uruguay), Conquito (Ecuador), León City Council (Spain), Demium Startups (Spain), and Impact Hub (Spain).
Illesca Seguel is a graduate in Sciences of Administration and also a Commercial Engineer. In addition to his experience in incubation and innovation, he has designed intra-entrepreneurship and open innovation programs for companies such as Renfe, KPMG, Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal, and Basque Culinary Center. He is also the director of Kool Hub, an innovative solutions center for the retail industry.
Illesca Seguel has also been a partner and founder of innovative projects in various industries, including video games, jewelry, wines, and software. In 2017, he designed the startup accompaniment program The Nest for Takeda Iberia, which won an award in 2018 as one of the 100 Best Ideas to improve patient quality of life, by Diario Médico (Barcelona).
In addition to his professional experience, Illesca Seguel serves as a professor in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation at Universidad de las Hesperides. He is also a professor at Instituto de Empresa (Startup Lab) and Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Madrid campus).
