The Universidad de las Hespérides, has taken a big step in its educational project with its incorporation into the Make Impact Consortium (MIC), a community of universities and companies working to accelerate the integration of technology, innovation, creation, and entrepreneurial spirit. This consortium is led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In addition to MIT, eight other internationally renowned universities founded the consortium: Fontys University (Netherlands), Texas A&M University, University of Derby (United Kingdom), University of Michigan, University of Cincinnati, Universidad Francisco Marroquin (Guatemala), Al-Ahliyya University of Amman (Jordan), and Applied Sciences University (Jordan).

With this collaboration, resources from all these institutions will be used more efficiently and an entrepreneurship culture will be fostered that provides tangible solutions to real problems through the exchange of best practices. The tools each university has are integrated into an application called Mobius. In it, all members of this community can easily find the available teams at each institution.
