Francisco Garcia Paramés
Graduate in Economics and MBA from IESE, he is the president and director of Cobas Asset Management. Recognized as one of Europe's leading value investors, he has over 30 years of professional experience, with a track record that places him among the top performers in terms of profitability. His investment style, based on value investing principles and Austrian business cycle theory, identifies him as a follower of Warren Buffett. He is the author of Invirtiendo a largo plazo, where he explains his investment methodology.
Fernando Bernad
Graduate in European Business summa cum laude from ICADE and Northeastern University. Partner and co-director of investments at Azvalor Asset Management. He began his career at Value Management & Research (Frankfurt) and worked at BNP Paribas, Banesto, and Interdin before joining Bestinver Asset Management in 2007. In 2015, he co-founded Azvalor, where he leads the investment strategy alongside Álvaro Guzmán de Lázaro.
Álvaro Guzmán de Lázaro
Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas por ICADE (Universidad Pontificia Comillas) y CFA charterholder. Consejero delegado y codirector de inversiones en Azvalor Asset Management, gestora que fundó en 2015. Comenzó su carrera en Arthur Andersen y Bankers Trust, especializándose después en value investing como analista en Value Management & Research (Fráncfort). Trabajó en Beta Capital y Banesto Bolsa antes de incorporarse a Bestinver Asset Management en 2003, donde permaneció hasta 2014.
Alejandro Muñoz
Graduate in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, with a Master's in Economic Policy from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Founder and manager at Equam, he has extensive experience in equity management and sector analysis. He currently directs the Master's in Value Investing and Business Cycle Theory at Universidad de las Hespérides.
Javier Ruiz
Graduate in Economics from Universidad de Salamanca and holder of a Master's in Finance from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). A Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2011, he previously worked at DWS Investments, Credit Suisse, and Metagestión as Investment Director. He currently heads the investment strategy at Horos Asset Management and teaches in specialized programs on Value Investing and Business Cycle Theory.
Mario de la Fuente
Chief Financial Officer at Bestinver since 2015, where he previously served as Director of Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance from 2006. He has worked at Arthur Andersen-Deloitte and as Director of Management Control at Avanzit-Ezentis. Since 2011, he has been teaching Value Investing and Accounting in master's programs at ICADE-Comillas, IEB, and OMMA. He holds a degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from ESIC, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from FAU (USA), an Executive MBA from EOI, and a GEP from IE.
What will you be able to dedicate yourself to?
Upon completing this Master's in Value Investing and Business Cycle Theory, you will have a deep understanding of various investment paradigms that will become your tools and foundation to successfully enter the stock market.
